80's fims & Tango and Cash

Tango and Cash mini review

Plot

Two rival cops from L.A are set up and to solve who set them up have to work together.

My thoughts

So i got sent this from love film on Blu ray and i tell you what considering this is late 80's this film look good and has been converted quite nicely. This film is full of trops however considering the age i'd say that they set the standard or trends to which some films will follow.

This is my first viewing of the film i know probably could have seen this sooner  but never crossed my mind. The comedy and chemistry from the two characters are fantastic and they really do bounce off each other. Now cut to present day and i have recently The Heat (Sandra Bullock and Melissa McCarthy) who are also two dysfunctional cops who cant work together with opposite styles and i will tell you what Tango and Cash is a much better film.

The one thing that i didn't get from the film was how Cash a L.A cop has a James Bond Q branch shit going on. With the Gun boot and the RV van of death.

The music that was going on in the background was typical 80's film stuff and it reminded me especially of Beverly Hill Cop which was a nice touch.

If you haven't seen the film give it  punt its an easy watch just like the that are of films were.

The 80's

We just don't make films like this any more!
These were the films i grew up on well that and the 90's. These film were just easy watches you just sat down and switched off and let everything happen on the screen. No hidden messages or over elaborate plots, an action film was exactly that guns and explosions with the hero getting the girl no twists. No one cared about the graphics or hidden easter eggs hell not even the acting in some cases.
Cause you know Arnie's and Stallone's first few films were as wooden as shit.

Like i stated earlier these films set the trops we see now days hell most films are re made from the plots from films of the 80's. Thats because original ideas in Hollywood is running at a low.
